SPROUT PROGRAM

3 Months to 2.5 Years

Our infant/toddler program provides a warm, calm, and appropriately stimulating environment for littles from 3 months to 2.5 years. We incorporate music, sensory play, and outdoor time into each day, alongside ample time for free play and exploration.

We work with families to ensure that your child’s sleep schedule works at home and at Bloom.

We schedule naps as appropriate given the child’s age and needs. We will never move a child to a different nap schedule before they’re ready to do so, regardless of age. While we guide children to nap independently, we also understand that different children need different supports to get there, which we are happy to provide. Before we make any changes to your baby’s schedule, we will communicate with you to make sure you feel good about and comfortable with the decision.

We are happy to feed using breastmilk, formula, purees, and/or table foods depending on each family’s needs and preference. We have extensive experience with baby led feeding, as well.

At this time, due to COVID protocols, we are unable to accommodate cloth diapering. Each day, you will get notifications and messages from our staff outlining your child’s naps, feeds, and diaper changes, and any other information of note. Of course, please check in with your child’s teacher about these things as well!

Tuition: Infant/Toddler Program (3 Months-2.5 Years)

SNAPDRAGON PROGRAM

2.5 Years to 4 Years

Our preschool program is one in which quickly developing little minds and bodies are given time and space to explore relationships, interests, and the world around them.

We believe in providing positive experiences for children to interact with a variety of materials, structures, environments, and people. We incorporate music, art, sensory play, outside time, and structured project opportunities into every day, alongside ample time for free play and peer interaction.

Our Snapdragons are all on the same nap and food schedule. We eat together as a class for morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. We have a quiet nap/rest time in the early afternoon, which allows children to calm their minds and bodies and recharge for the rest of the day.

We do not require Snapdragons to be potty-trained before entering the program, but we do ask that it is something being worked on at home. We are happy to provide support for that as well. If your child still wears diapers or pull-ups at nap time, we are happy to accommodate that. Each day, you will get notifications and messages from our staff outlining your child’s naps, feeds, and diaper changes, and any other information of note. Of course, please check in with your child’s teacher about these things as well!

SUNFLOWER PROGRAM

4 to Kindergarten-Ready

Our Sunflower program works to expand upon and build up the knowledge a child enters with by providing specific and varied opportunities for social, emotional, and academic growth.

We believe in encouraging children at this age to move independently through their classroom and their community, while providing ample support, guidance, and reassurance as they move toward Kindergarten.

We incorporate music, art, sensory play, pre-academic skill building, outside time, and structured project opportunities into every day, alongside ample time for free play and peer interaction. Our Sunflowers are all on the same nap and food schedule. We eat together as a class for morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. We have a quiet nap/rest time in the early afternoon, which allows children to calm their minds and bodies and recharge for the rest of the day. After a period of rest, we have quiet choices available for those who do not nap.

Children in our Sunflower program are required to be fully potty-trained before entering the program. Each day, you will get notifications and messages from our staff outlining your child’s nap, foods, and any other information of note. Of course, please check in with your child’s teacher about these things as well!
